What's more important: being kind or honest?

When I see this question, I thought it's going to be easy to answer but after awhile, it got me thinking. I first chose being kind because with a kind heart, it can help many people. But what if you are kind but you're not honest? You're not honest, we can't trust you, people will eventually NOT want your kindness.
So, honesty is more important - that's what I think. ^-^
P/S: Because that good friend of mine is honest but not kind. Never was. Hahaha. Oops.
