This post is late, June is pride month and this took place on 29th June.
Pink dot is a group for everyone, straight and gay, who support the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to love. I only learn about pinkdot.sg this year because I wasn't paying attention to what's going on in Singapore but I was beyond surprised to find that there's such thing here because you know what Singapore is known for - judgmental. Of course it's easier to accept that you're different but when you're actually dating someone of your gender, everybody loses their mind.
You'll be accepted for who you are there so I had to go. Just look at the pictures, it's really heartwarming to see how many people are there because then you realize not everyone will judge you base on your sexual orientation and how many people is willing to respect you for who you are. This is a video of this year's pinkdot and I'll wear pink looking forward to seeing you all there next year.
