Make up for beginners.

Someone mailed me ask me to give suggestions for makeup beginners and because mail only can add photos but I can't figure out how to put it where I want it to be so I'm here sharing this with everyone who needs help! And to make things easier!

Beginners mostly start with eye makeup.
But!!! Before I start, I just wanna clarify some things:
1) I'm not a makeup artist or makeup professional but I know things needed to know about makeup and I'm just sharing and suggesting what I think is best for anyone who wants to get into makeup but don't know where to start.
2) Everyone's style is different so others who do makeup might not like what I suggested and if so, leave it down in the comments below telling us what makeup brand or what product is your most favorite or your least favorite. (no rude comments please)

Crayon/pencil eyeliner:
Crayon liner is better than pencil liner because they get on your skin easier than pencil. Try Revlon ColorStay eyeliner. Pencil eyeliner is like literally pencil shaped but there's people calling crayon eyeliner a pencil eyeliner just because it looks like a pen. Almost all crayon eyeliners works the same but I've personally used only Chanel and Revlon (used up and thrown). I think Revlon is better to be honest. Line your waterline with crayon eyeliner is the best choice.

Cream/gel eyeliner:
Cream eyeliner and gel eyeliner are the same thing. Try M.A.C gel eyeliner, they are creamy (just right) and last more than 24 hours on your skin. Try to avoid Cyber Colors & SASA cosmetic because Cyber Colors gel liner is a bit too solid hard for you to get the product onto the brush. SASA cosmetic gel liner is TOO soft and I personally don't like it because just putting your brush on the gel liner can get you quite a lot of product which is kinda hard to control when you're lining smaller parts of your eyes.

Liquid eyeliner:
If you want to use liquid eyeliner when you're just starting on makeup, I suggest you try THEFACESHOP greatist eyeliner. Avoid Neo Automatic Eyeliner, it's not very good because you need to turn the tip of the "pen" to get the liquid out and sometimes when you turn once, the liquid won't come out so you turn another time, then A LOT liquid came out. Hard to control the liquid so it's not very good.

Mascara:
A good mascara can make your eyelashes look super long like you're wearing false eyelashes! The BEST mascara I've used before is Maybelline the MAGNUM VOLUM' EXPRESS. Remember to get an eyelash curler if you're using mascara itself alone.

False eyelashes:
I prefer thick eyelashes but it might not suit everyone. But if you're more on the natural less makeup kinda look, try normal natural false eyelashes. If you want to wear false lashes, I think it's better to start off with mascara first because false lashes can make a huge difference to your look although you can skip right to using false lashes. Don't buy eyelash glue that's TOO strong because you'll have a hard time pulling your false eyelashes out. And yes, the only way to remove false eyelashes is to pull it out. But if your eyelash glue acts naughty with you, use a Q tip/tissue/anything, to wipe it against the eyelash line, then try pulling again. Remember try your best not to stick false eyelashes onto any of your real eyelashes.

Eyeshadow:
Eyeshadows are like my bestfriend. They have so many colors to choose from if you're more on the happy colorful side, get an eyeshadow palette, super worth it. But I won't recommend beginners to use eyeshadow because it can be quite messy because you're still not familiar with handling the brushes although it doesn't take any skills to handle them; especially loose powders kind of eyeshadow which I think works better because you can carry the true color on your brush.

Eye primer:
Urban decay eye primer potion is SUPER good. I own M.A.C eyeshadow primer too but it don't work as well as urban decay's though it doesn't make a very big difference. The purpose of eyeshadow primer is that it can make the color of your eyeshadow powder more visible, more opaque, more bright and it makes them stay longer. So eyeshadow primer is a must (not really) if you want to use eyeshadow.

Now going to the whole face.

Foundation:
Use liquid foundation first then use powder foundation as another layer on your face to make the liquid foundation stay.

I use the three shades thing from the makeup store to cover dark circles and for highlight.

So I don't have those individual concealer. Dx

Bronzer/Blusher:
Not everyone can pull off blushers, I can't, I will look like some china baby. So I think bronzer is better because it can be somewhat used like a blusher, putting it on cheeks and also it can use for conturing your nose area to make your nose look sharper and your jawline area to make your face look thiner. I always wanted a bronzer but don't have the chance to get it so I can't recommend any. Sorry about that!

I won't go much into lips because it's not the thing for beginners. Lipglosses don't suit me at all because I have crooked teeth so it makes my mouth look oily and just disgusting. Lipstick, try nude lipsticks, it looks super nice on people with mostly straight teeth. If you have perfect straight teeth, try nude lipstick then go over it with nude lipgloss. Your lips will sure look yummy. Red and black lipstick can TOTALLY change your whole appearance so try it only if you're ready for stares.

*Clean your brushes.
I am aware that this is not the right way to clean your brushes but this works for me so I'm just sharing to people who wants to know.
